The mantis shimp. For a long time this amazing creature was simply considered as food, but as nature proves right before our eyes, these shrimp are fierce, voracious, and very hungry predators! p.s. the thumbnail image at the start of this video is just food for the mantis not seen here…
Sweet Pea was hauled today, gear offloaded and rinsed down and is in the middle of the drying process before being put away for the next 5 months. And none too late for me to hop onto a jet and head back to Texas with a 7wt (floating and intermediate lines)!!!
The 2010 Fall striped bass and bluefish run is in full swing with large bodied striped and gorilla bluefish on the feed as the water temperatures have already reached the low 50′s, which is PRIME TIME!
